Papers relating to Sonia and Robert Delaunay, ca. 1960-1981.

Correspondence, manuscripts, ephemera, source material, audio tapes and photographs deriving from Arthur Cohen's association with Sonia Delaunay principally in relation to his edition of the Delaunays' writings ("The New Art of Color," 1972) and his monograph ("Sonia Delaunay," 1975). The collection includes notably a long series of letters of Sonia Delaunay, the full transcript of a 1970 interview with her and tapes from interviews conducted in 1971, with copy prints of a number of photographs of people and works of art, not used in the publications, from the artist's own collection and other private sources.
