Series 4F : Walter Gould papers, 1933-1950.

Correspondence of Gould, foreign general sales manager. Originally entitled "Liberal European Countries Subject File - Foreign Department #146" and arranged alphabetically by topic, these records represent the letters A-F, all that was received by the Archives. The files contain correspondence concerning UA distribution, personnel, sales, advertising, and film censorship (primarily in Asia during the World War II era). The most extensive files concern Great Britain, France, Australia, South America, and Algeria. In general, the focus is on individual and national rather than legal problems.
