Seegar of Addison, Vt., from two childhood friends: from Charles Miller, 1856-1865, who describes his life in Madison, Wis., his enlistment in the 2nd and 52nd Wisconsin Infantry during the Civil War, and military life; and from C. M. Fisher, 1866-1875, while attending Wayland Academy, Beaver Dam, Wis., describing his activities as a student and while working in Menasha, Wis.
