Abstract

Civil War letters, 1861-1864, written to his wife Delia and father-in-law Jared Warner by Captain Henry F. Young, Company F, 7th Wisconsin Infantry Regiment, describing a soldier's life and the war in Maryland and Virginia; also muster rolls, commission papers, and letters from fellow soldiers written to Young after he returned to Grant County, Wisconsin; and personal recollections and his obituary, which were printed in a local newspaper.
