Record of orders and decrees issued in Iowa County Territorial District Court and Circuit Court. Information in record includes: name of case, date and text of order, name of Judge or Court commissioner issuing order, and jurors' names. Orders relate to naturalization, attachment, dissolution of banks, appeals, foreclosure, appointment of Court Commissioners, appointment of special guardians, permits allowing guardian to sell ward's property, divorce, and bankruptcy. Record also includes jury decisions in criminal cases of assault, murder, bastardy, embezzlement, larceny, manslaughter, and resisting an officer. Volumes 10-13 contain only civil cases. Volume 14 includes only certificates of naturalization, 1870-1903.
