Papers of an itinerant Methodist minister who was an evangelist in lumber camps, and later served as a pastor in Hebron, Peshtigo, Verona, Middleton, Waupun, Whitehall, and Madison, Wis. Included are diaries, church record books from Waupun, 1897-1898, and Whitehall, 1915-1916, a daily expenditures and receipts book, 1894-1897, and scrapbooks of clippings relating primarily to his ministerial career.

From a small beginning in May 1932, the Methodist Crusaders Choir, then with 75 choristers, was hurriedly formed and made its first public appearance at the General Conference Meetings of the Methodist Church of Australasia. It is primarily a hymn-singing choir, and the devoted members feel that the main purpose in their coming together is to spread the gospel message of the Church by means of song.
