Reminiscences, 1950-1951.

Typewritten memories of growing up in Oconto Falls, Wis. and a lifetime career in the paper industry. Johnson started in the lumber camps at age 13 and moved up to scaler and wood buyer for mills at Oconto Falls and Marinette, Wisconsin and Menominee, Michigan, owned in succession by Continental Paper, International Paper, and Scott Paper companies. Also included are transcribed newspaper articles about his community service activities.

The Scott Paper Company was incorporated in Pennsylvania on December 21, 1905, as successor to the Scott Paper Company, Ltd., organized in October 1879.
