Papers concerning anti-Vietnam War activities at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, most dealing with an SACC Activities Day held there on March 4, 1969 to discuss and criticize interaction between MIT researchers and the Defense Dept. Speakers featured on that day include Senator George McGovern and linguist Noam Chomsky. File includes flyers, pamphlets, and clippings from these and other student organizations and faculty (including the Students for a Democratic Society and the Union of Concerned Scientists), most of which expose specific instances of academic complicity with the military or criticize the interaction between governments and large corporations in the U.S., Vietnam, Guatemala, and elsewhere.
