Research papers of Asmussen, formerly of Oshkosh, Wis., consisting of notes, transcribed documents, photocopies of newsclippings, correspondence, and an outline of her screenplay, "Oshkosh," which was unsuccessfully submitted to Carl Laemmle (an Oshkosh native) at Universal Pictures Corporation. The bulk of the materials relate to Oshkosh and to Wisconsin Native Americans, particularly the Menominee and Chief Oshkosh.
