United States census schedules for Wisconsin, 1860.

Schedules for the eighth census, including agricultural schedules showing names of farm operators and land, crop, and livestock statistics; mortality schedules showing names of persons who died during the census year, with causes of death; products of industry schedules showing statistics of manufactured products; and social statistics schedules, showing schools, churches, libraries, and other institutions in each county. Also included are the above schedules, bound together with the population schedule. In addition, the Library has negative and positive microfilm of each volume, by county, including all schedules. Also available on microfilm produced in Archives is the mortality schedule (Reel 1), the industry schedule (Reel 2), and the agriculture schedule (Reel 3-5). A typed transcription of the Mortality Schedule was prepared in 1947 by members of the John Bell Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, Madison, and is cataloged as Mss 905. The processed portion of this series is summarized above and described in the reel list. There are additional accessions consisting of an original manuscript volume of data for La Pointe, Ashland, and Douglas counties which is described below.
