A journal, 1837-1838, kept by Rev. Stebbins, a Methodist preacher in Wisconsin, with a typewritten autobiography copied from the journal. Also included are two letters, one dated August 1887 by O. F. Dana of Falmouth, Maine, and the other December 19, 1911 by W. J. Douglas of Terry, South Dakota, both concerning the life and career of Stebbins.

From a small beginning in May 1932, the Methodist Crusaders Choir, then with 75 choristers, was hurriedly formed and made its first public appearance at the General Conference Meetings of the Methodist Church of Australasia. It is primarily a hymn-singing choir, and the devoted members feel that the main purpose in their coming together is to spread the gospel message of the Church by means of song.
