Autobiography, 1881.

Tells of early life in Tennessee, relates a dream, talks of family and conversion to the LDS church, speaks of experiences with James Emmett's company in Iowa. Relates briefly the grasshopper infestation in Salt Lake and the Utah Expedition. The later years events are passed over quickly, and the manuscript ends in the middle of a sentence on the last page. Typescript includes an addenda and geneological sheets. Epilogue by Mary Ann Cottam Miller.
