Oral history, 1987.

Interview conducted by Jessie L. Embry as part of the LDS German-Speaking Oral History Project by the Charles Redd Center for Western studies at Brigham Young University. Stettler explains that the persons in the "Little Berlin" area of Logan were not of German but were of Swiss descent. Since these people spoke German, they were mistakenly referred to as Germans. Stettler talks about growing up in Logan, speaking German in the home, and attending a German-speaking branch of the Mormon Church.
