Oral history, 1990.

Interview conducted by Odessa Neaman as part of the LDS Native American Oral History Project by the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies at Brigham Young University on March 25, 1990. Johnson talks about his early life on the Navajo Reservation near Shiprock, New Mexico and his early religious activities. He talks about his family and about his school experiences. He describes his experiences at the Haskell Indian Junior College in Lawrence, Kansas and his conversion to the Mormon Church. He talks about his experiences at the Brigham Young University in Hawaii and his plans to marry the missionary who converted him.
