Interview conducted by Alan Cherry as part of the LDS Afro-American Oral History Project of the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies at Brigham Young University on 16 March 1988. Webb describes his early family life and religious experiences in Kansas and St. Louis, Missouri. He discusses his interracial marriage, his wife's membership in the Mormon Church, his conversion to that faith, and its impact on his present life and on others including Mormons and non-Mormons.
