Interview conducted by Alan Cherry as part of the LDS Afro-American Oral History Project of the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies at Brigham Young University on 12 June 1987. Warren talks of her early life and religious experiences in Mississippi. She describes her first contact with Mormons, her conversion to the Mormon Church, its influence on her family, and their conversion to that Church. She discusses her life as a Mormon and briefly comments on the experiences of Frieda Beaulieue, an early black Mormon.
