Accepts his offer to correspond; sends "a number of the 'Pioneer'." [I. Hunt, Jr., was probably Jedediah Hunt, Jr., 1815-1860]. [2] 1856, Aug. 29, New York [ANS, 1 p.] -- Quotation of Genl.[?] Chapman. [3] 1861, May 13, Kennett Square, Pa., to Dear Sir [1 p.; 20 cm.] -- Will be out of the country in July; has long since ceased to deliver poems publicly. [4] 1868, Nov. 16, Kennett Square, Pa., to "My dear Sir" [1 p.] -- Concerns letters from W. Halleck. [The recipient of the letter lived in New York].
