Chief of staff's administrative files, 1985-1993.

This series consists of records generated or maintained by Tuffy Rainey, John Grenier, Holman Head, Jim Reddoch, and Dennis Nabors, who all served respectively as Governor Hunt's Chief of Staff. In addition to agency files, the records of Tuffy Rainey include letters of thanks, congratulations, birthday greetings, and requests for autographed photographs of Governor Hunt. The Nabors records include agency files and information on issues of particular importance to the governor. A subseries of miscellaneous records includes reports, correspondence, and other material relating to the Alabama Management Improvement Program, the bicentennial of the U.S. constitution, and fiscal and economy policy. Included also are records of the governor's approval regarding hiring and travel of state employees during proration of state funds. There are video tapes of flooding in Randolph County, Elba, and Montgomery as well as state toruist attractions. A record of contributions by the "Friends of Guy Hunt" is also among the subseries of miscellaneous records.
