The Donohoe-Ostrander-Dimond Records consist primarily of the correspondence, business records, and case files of the Valdez, Alaska, law firm Ostrander & Donohoe and its successor firm Donohoe & Dimond. The collection also includes political correspondence; papers concerning operations of the Valdez Mining Company and the Fidalgo-Alaska Copper Company; and Anthony J. Dimond's business and personal correspondence (1909-1913) prior to his partnership with Donohoe.

The law firm Ostrander & Donohoe practiced in Valdez, Alaska, from 1903 to 1914. On the death of John Y. Ostrander in March 1914, it was succeeded by the law firm Donohoe & Dimond, which continued to practice in Valdez to 1933. Anthony J. Dimond was a prospector-freighter in the Copper River Valley until injured by an accidental gunshot, after which he studied law and passed the Alaska Bar in 1913. He served as U.S. Commissioner in Chisana, practiced law with Tom Donohoe in Valdez, served as Mayor of Valdez, as special assistant to the U.S. Distrtict Attorney and as Territorial Senator, Delegate to Congress and U.S. District Judge for the 3rd Division in Anchorage.
