George Milbrey Gould papers, 1858-1932.

Contains correspondence, diaries, scrapbooks, notes, and photos. Many of the letters are addressed to Mrs. Gould who collected the material for a biography of her husband. Correspondents included James Bonar, Sir James Johnston Dobbie, Bayard Holmes, J.G. Kello, Johannes Klopsch, and Henry James Wolstenholme. Letters from William J. Morton to Gould concern William T.G. Morton. Scrapbooks include printed matter relating to eyestrain, Gould's medical dictionaries, and public health examinations. Contains volume of "abridged record of ophthalmic cases" (1888-92) with note: Collector, W. W. Rowan.
