ALS, 1916 November 10 : Sagamore Hill, to Joseph D. Smith.

Smith was apparently writing an article on Roosevelt. Roosevelt refers to his Cooper Union speech, when on October 14, 1912 he was shot while giving the speech, and saved when the bullet struck a bulky manuscript before entering Roosevelt's chest.
