Photographs taken by Steven Stone, historian of theaters in Portland, Or. and former assistant manager of Portland's Orpheum Theater. The images depict Portland theaters in 1966 and circa 1976, including the Blue Mouse Theater, Orpheum Theater, and Round-Up Theater in SW Portland and the Crest Theater in North Portland. There are also photographs of sawdust, or wigwam, burners near Sandy, Mapleton, Kings Valley, Eugene, Philomath, Independence, and Troutdale, Or. from 1972-1975. Includes both color and black-and-white 35 mm and medium format negatives.
