The deluge : playscript, [ca. 1950].

This is a photocopy of a typed playscript entitled THE DELUGE, which was written by a University of Kentucky student, Jerry Finch, and produced at the university student theater. The play takes place in a small, conservative and religious town about to be flooded by a government-built dam. The main characters are corrupted by the money they receive for their property and the disintegration of the moral values of the residents in the face of impending destruction of the town. The process of decay is aided by the devil's arrival.
