Papers of a businessman of Portland, Oregon, and general in Oregon National Guard. The collection includes records of the Oregon National Guard and the First Infantry Regiment of the Guard, including letterpress copy books, 1888-1903, enlistment oaths, 1886, financial records, 1888-1895, and ephemera, 1890-1911. Some of the materials relate to the Armory building in Portland. Also included are personal materials of Beebe, including letters of sympathy sent to his widow, Emma, after his death in 1922. contains two letterpress copybooks: 1899 April 22-1902 July 3; and 1902 July 3-1903 January 14.
