John Reynolds commissions, 1754.

This collection consists of two commissions of John Reynolds by George II. The first commissions Reynolds as Vice Admiral Commissary and Deputy in the Office of Vice Admiralty in the Province of Georgia, signed by Samuel Hill 1754. A manuscript copy of the original document, it is signed by Nathan C. Barnett and contains certification that it is a true and correct copy, Atlanta, Office of the Secretary of State, December 1, 1875. The second commissions Reynolds as Captain General and Governor in Chief over the colony of Georgia, 1754. This manuscript copy is signed by Nathan C.
