The Washington State Oral/Aural History Program oral history transcripts are comprised of interviews of working men and women from ethnic minority groups living in Washington State. Participants discuss their immigrant and migrant experiences between 1880 and 1975, and their work in such fields as railroads, logging, mining, fishing, farming, and homesteading. Other topics include housing conditions, labor organizations, racial progress, World War I and World War II.
