Postcard and notecard signed by Allen Ginsberg, 1989 January 10.

The collection contains a Japanese postcard depicts a nude Ginsberg holding a camera and advertises an exhibit "Eyes of the Angel / Allen Ginsberg's Photographs" at the Temporary Museum in Tokyo. Ginsberg has autographed the postcard in a margin of the recto and written and signed a note to the recipient on the verso. The collection also contains a notecard signed by Ginsberg on the same date.

Irwin Allen Ginsberg was born on June 3, 1926 in Newark, New Jersey to Louis and Naomi (Levy) Ginsberg. American poet, author, lecturer, and teacher who was one of the core members of the Beat Generation of American author's in the 1950's and early 1960's along with Jack Kerouac, William S.
