Neal Stamp graduated from Cornell in 1940 and received his law degree from Cornell in 1942. After serving in the Army from 1942-1945, he went into private practice in Rochester, NY. In 1947 he returned to Cornell as Associate Legal Counsel and in 1959 he became the secretary of both the Corporation and the Board of Trustees of Cornell.
