Collection of bound photocopies of newspaper clippings on a variety of aspects of Mohawk Indian life and activities. Assorted issues important to the Mohawk Nation, including activities of the tribal government at Akwesasne and its interaction with state and local government bodies, law enforcement issues, and issues regarding gambling. There are two series one compiled in 1995 and the other in 1998. The four volumes of series one are: v.1 General, v.2 Tribal government, v.3 Gambling, and v.4 Crime and violence. The four volumes in series two are: v.1 Tribal Government, v.2 Gambling, v.3 Taxation, smuggling, policing and crime, and v.4 Culture, economics, education, environment and energy.
