Henry Miller dictation : and biographical material, [ca. 1888]

Recollections of his early life in Europe and New York; trip to California, 1850, via Panama; work as a butcher in San Francisco; cattle business and association with Charles Lux; land holdings in California, Nevada and Oregon; the San Joaquin and Kings River Canal. Draft, in the handwriting of Alfred Bates, of History of the life of Henry Miller, published in H.H. Bancroft's Chronicles of the Builders of the Commonwealth, and a letter to the History Company from Edwin W. Fowler, with notes for he biography, included.
