Correspondence, manuscripts, typescripts, pamphlets, reprints, photographs, relating to her work as a chest physician and faculty member at the University of California, San Francisco, and the San Francisco General Hospital, her collecting interests in the history of medicine, particularly Sir William Osler, and her work at the Golden Gate International Exposition, and several tuberculosis sanatoria in California: San Luis Obispo County, Los Berros, and Hassler Home. Among her correspondents are John F. Fulton and W.W. Francis.

John Farquhar Fulton was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on November 1, 1899. He received B.S. and M.D. degrees from Harvard, and a M.A. and D. Phil. from Oxford. He was appointed Sterling Professor of Physiology at Yale in 1929 and in 1951 became the first Sterling professor of the history of medicine. Born in Ontario, Canada, Dr. Osler was received his medical from McGill University in 1872. He became Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine's first professor of medicine in 1889.
