Letter, 1863 April 3, Richmond, Va. to John Letcher, Governor, State of Virginia.

Brigadier General John H. Winder writes to Virginia Governor John Letcher enclosing a copy of the sentence of court martial for J.C. Northwood [not enclosed]. Winder requests Northwood's imprisonment in the State Penitentiary. The letter is in a clerical hand, with Winder's signature.
