Also, legal documents, financial documents, bylaws, pamphlets, press releases, reports, minutes, speeches, clippings, texts of spot radio announcements, 1950s, and a film, "The Purple Turtle," generated by the activities of the NKA. Of note are letters to Bessie Locke from John Dewey; and correspondence, ca. 1910s, relating to the establishment of kindergartens for black children.
