Day book, 1835-1845.

Record of expenses for the schooner Patriot (1835-1837), sloop Meteor (1839-1845), and brig Massachusetts (1845) as they carried on commerce along the coast between New Bedford, MA and New Orleans, LA. Among the commodities transported were molasses, sweet potatoes, shingles, and corn. The expenses recorded include wharfage fees, customs fees, pilotage costs, and repairs to the ships.
