Design album [photographs], ca.1798-1804.

Black-and-white photographs of an album containing Neoclassical designs by Percier and Fontaine, the original of which is at the Fogg Art Museum at Harvard University. The designs are for rooms, mantels, a bed with curtains, a sofa or daybed, furniture legs, a globe stand, ceilings, and statues of Athena and Zeus. One drawing depicts a woman reading in a Neo-classical room. Another sketch shows a monumental building near a river.
