Registers of interest payments on the liquidated debt, 1786-1787.

These registers (v.1116 and 1116A) show payments of interest on the liquidation debt--the part of the Continental war debt that was audited and for which certificates of indebtedness, commonly known as public debt certificates, were issued. Each entry gives (1) for the certificates of principal presented, the date, number, name of person to whom issued, officer by whom issued, amount, and dates of beginning and ending of interest; (2) for the interest certificates, the date, amount of principal, number of certificates, number of vouchers, and interest paid and total amount of interest paid. Volume 1116A is a duplicate of Volume 1116.
