Consists of one hand-colored image of and six documents of Dr. Benjamin Rush: a copy in an unidentified hand of an extract from a letter written by Dr. Rush dated 19 August 1793, during the yellow fever epidemic in Philadelphia; a letter dated 1 June 1808 to an unnamed correspondent concerning the dental problems of children; a recommendation of Dr. Samuel Beneret dated 12 June 1809; medical directions for the Rev. William Patterson, 25 May 1810; a letter dated 11 July 1812 to Edward Harris, containing a prescription; and a recommendation of Dr. Samuel Renshaw dated 17 June 1821.
