Interview conducted by Alan Cherry as part of the LDS Afro-American Oral History Project of the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies at Brigham Young University on 5 March 1988. Thompson talks of her early life in Chicago, Illinois, of her marriage, and of the death of her husband. She discusses her conversion to the Mormon Church as an adult ands its impact on her present life.
