This collection contains clippings, programs, newsletters, photographs, photocopies of photographs, and sheet music. Included are photographs of Hank with family members Lillian, Audrey, Billie Jean, Lycrecia, and Hank, Jr., programs from his Grand Ole Opry performance and his funeral, the sheet music of "Kaw-liga" and published photographic "scrapbooks" compiled and sold by his wife Audrey.

Hank Williams (b. September 17, 1923, Mt. Olive, AL–d. January 1, 1953, Oak Hill, WV) was an American singer-songwriter. Williams recorded 35 singles (five released posthumously). Born in Mount Olive, Butler County, Alabama, Williams relocated to Georgiana with his family, where he met Rufus Payne. Payne had a major influence on Williams' later musical style, along with Roy Acuff and Ernest Tubb. Hank Williams was born Hiram Hank Williams near Georgiana, Ala., 17 Oct. 1923. After being taught by a local African-American Rufus Payne and in the Baptist Church to play the guitar and sing, Hank began performing at the age of fourteen. Although Williams and his music were a national phenomena, his personal life was marred by marriage troubles and alcoholism. Hank died of a heart attack at age 29.
