This series relates to cooperative efforts in adult education between the Dept. and federal agencies. Included are an annual report and report of a training school for teachers in the Emergency Education Program sponsored by the Federal Emergency Relief Administration (FERA) and a report of an education conference held at the University of Ala. with the Works Progress Administration. The Emergency Education Program was created to employ needy unemployed teachers and to improve citizenship by providing educational opportunities for adults.
