John Whitmer letters received, 1864-1916.

Two handwritten and signed letters and a postcard. A. Whitmer writes to his father in 1864 complaining of the conditions of the Union Army, D. P. Whitmer writes to his uncle lamenting the death of his child, Harry G. Whitmer, in 1872, and a postcard announces the birth of a baby boy to members of the Whitmer family in 1916.
