Minimum standards manuals, 1975 [state publication].

This series consists of minimum standards which were developed by the Department for the rehabilitation of delinquent youth at the community level. They were meant to provide guidelines for sound and effective programs and services. Included are standards for the certification of personnel, for probation and aftercare services, detention care, attention care, residential facilities and programs, group interaction centers, and foster family homes. Containing an introduction, the legal authority, and a glossary, each manual then discusses the administration, training requirements, operating procedures and application for license, physical standards, and admissions, discharges, physical care, etc. for the specific program or service, when applicable. This series documents the Department's role in licensing and prescribing standards for programs and services, as authorized by the Code.
