Subjects include Callahan's wife Eleanor (including a portrait taken in artist Hugo Weber's studio), and daughter Barbara; streetscenes in Chicago, Florence, Paris, Providence, and Venice; building facades in Atlanta, Chicago, and New York; houses and storefronts in Detroit; and natural phenomena including vegetation and beaches on Cape Cod, and the desert in Egypt.
