Notebook contains holograph notes made by John Keats while a pupil and dresser at Guy's Hospital, London, probably during the winter of 1815-1816. The notes, on human anatomy and physiology, are taken from the lectures of Sir Astley Cooper.

John Keats was an English poet and literary critic. John Keats, English poet, was born in London, England, on 29 or 31 Oct. 1795. He died of tuberculosis in Italy on 23 Feb. 1821. In 1810, Keats was articled to a surgeon, T. Hammond, in Edmonton for five years. The contract was broken in 1814 or 1815.
