Handwritten and signed letters addressed to Franklin S. Richards. The items are dated 20 June 1877, 2 Dec. 1885, and 12 Feb. 1886. In 1877 Snow writes to Richards, who was "five thousand miles" away, with a birthday greeting. Snow also writes about his trial for polygamy.

Snow, Lorenzo, 1814-1901

Lorenzo Snow was born 3 April 1814 in Mantua, Ohio. After being baptized a member of the Church, he served a mission in Ohio and the Eastern States. He was ordained to the office of Seventy in 1840. He served as President of the United Order in Brigham City from 1874-1886. He was ordained an apostle in 1849, after which he served missions to England and Europe.
