Treasurer's reports, 1781-1865.

This series contains receipts issued by the treasurer who paid money into the treasury. Typically, such persons were local officials paying in tax revenue they had collected. The receipts were returned to the auditor of public accounts, who first had issued warrants authorizing the treasurer to receive funds. Each receipt contains the date, the amount received, and the reason for the payment.
