These volumes are a compilation of manuscript and printed items, with some extensive annotations by Parker on the published items. There are various editions of the "Army Register," or "Register of the Army of the U.S.," from 1813-1816, published both in Washington and Philadelphia, with Parker's corrections, additions, and manuscript versions appended. Some of the volumes contain printed regulations, orders, and laws, with his annotations, such as "An Act for Establishing Rules & Articles . . . of the Armies of the U.S." (Washington, 1808).
