Marmaduke Tilden, Jr. (1883-1957) and H. Bartol Register (1886-1956) established the firm Tilden & Register in 1916. In 1925 George Wharton Pepper, Jr. (1895-1949) joined the partnership, forming the firm of Tilden, Register & Pepper.
