Letter to Robert R. Livingston regarding the publication of the "Transactions" of a society of which both men were members. DeWitt complains that the volumes are small and that more material from foreign publications should be included. The society's name is not mentioned, but it may be the Society for the Promotion of Useful Arts or the American Philosophical Society. Written at Albany, N.Y.
