Affidavit Regarding the Paltz Patent, 1750 September 24.

An affidavit sworn out in pursuance to the Governor's order of 1750 August 9 regarding the survey of the Paltz Patent. A significant point made in the affidavit is the location of Jeffrows Hook, a point of land on the Hudson River from which many measurements of the patent were made. Sworn at New York, N.Y.
